Vince Zampella, Has Died in an LA Traffic Collision
The visionary game developer, renowned for co-creating the immensely successful first-person shooter Call of Duty, has passed away in a vehicle crash in California at the age of 55.
Zampella's death was announced by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio he co-founded.
The celebrated video game developer died after his car crashed and caught fire on a highway in Los Angeles on Sunday, as reported by.
"This is a heartbreaking loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and all those touched by his legacy," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts said.
