Defiant Nancy does not fear being fired but the Parkhead faithful display fury after loss.
The Celtic boss insisted he did not fear dismissal, maintaining, “The team is really close to changing our fortunes,” despite sliding worryingly close to being fired with a convincing defeat by the Ibrox side.

“The outcomes [that leads to pressure]. That is the truth for the moment. But by saying that’s how it is, it doesn’t mean that I am a defeatist guy. Absolutely not. The message is we are on the cusp, imminently close to reverse our form.”
Focus on the Details
He continues to cling to the fact his team play well for a half at a time. In fact, if not for wastefulness in front of goal they could have been more than 1-0 up. “I saw enough except the fact that we missed more goals,” he said. “I know that we lost, but I have also to be balanced.
“The standard we had at times was really, really, really high. This is the reality. I could not speak so positively if it was different. But that’s why, in terms of results, I noted we've seen this before. That’s why I feel a change is coming to things turning around. Right now: small things.”
“I saw a lot of encouraging signs that we did, as was the case today. The issue now is performing for 90 minutes. My outlook would not be the same. This is why I am a big believer the team can to turn things around.”
The Rangers Boss Outlook
The victorious boss refused to contemplate a serious challenge even after what appeared to be a landmark win. “One match at a time, and we can really build up momentum,” he said. “The confidence in the squad is outstanding.”
