The New Season Introducing a New Map, Style, and Weapons
Together with the battle royale addition, the first season is also starting. It introduces a new map, a new mode, and fresh guns. Additionally, Redsec is making its debut. An included teaser will be released at go-live, giving fans a glimpse of what's to come.
F2P Model Allows Battle Royale Accessible to All
Maybe the biggest news is that this new experience will be F2P. Much like other titles, you don't have to purchase the original Battlefield 6 to join in. The intense thrill during encounters with another squad is unmatched in different battle royale. It's like a true survival situation, and you actually care if you live or perish.
Although I was a critic beforehand, I'm completely a fan of the new mode after playing it.
Such initial reactions from players have been very positive. Naturally, the gameplay may have evolved over the past couple of months in terms of balancing and tempo. But, early signs are positive that this new mode could be a real alternative to established games. Some are hoping that the most effective firearms from the base title will carry over in the new mode.
